New Crime Novel Promotes Industrial Hemp as the US Government Continues a Facade to Smokescreen Marijuana

In efforts to dismantle the United States' marijuana facade on why the feds will not legalize hemp, sites such as NatureNews, Hemp, Norml, and Cannibas News, to name a few, are dedicated to educating the public about the benefits of hemp, while keeping their pulse on hemp worldwide. Yesterday, Hemp.com highlighted the explosive sequel to the first novel ever written to mention the world's favorite herb. According to Hemp.com, the novel, That Girl Started Her Own Country, written by the Holy Ghost Writer contains a cameo appearance by the former KGB spy and ex-wife of the 'King of Pot' with a mention of him via his royal title.

According to Hemp, Inc., formerly Marijuana Inc., it's illegal to grow hemp because it is considered marijuana by the US Drug Enforcement Agency. Bruce Perlowin, advocate of hemp legalization, formerly donned, 'King of Pot', and who is frequently featured on cable networks, addresses the issue on his company's website, hemp.com, saying:

"Hemp is not marijuana. It is in the same family, but it is not Marijuana. The THC content (the active drug in Marijuana) of hemp is less than 1% while marijuana plants typically have 10-30% THC. The content in hemp makes it useless as a drug. You cannot hide marijuana plants in a hemp field as the DEA and law enforcement officials would have you believe. The hemp will pollinate the marijuana and lower the THC content, rendering it useless as a drug."
He goes on to say, "The Federal Government must understand and concur that hemp is NOT a drug and cannot be used as a drug."

His website seems to track every political stance on the issue of hemp. It also tries to inform Americans of facts and the benefit of hemp while many believe the US Government smokescreens it for its own monetary purpose.

According to Perlowin, "Hemp is a sustainable resource. It requires no pesticides or herbicides that lead to poisoning our waters and soil and it feeds nutrients back to the earth so farmers can grow other crops on their land and reap higher yields." The site also confirms that the fiber material is one of the strongest naturally occurring materials known to man. So much that, "it is currently being used in the automobile industry to create the body for cars. BMW and Mercedes are using hemp plastics in their high-end vehicles." Also, "the former Mayor of Asheville, has spent less than $100 a month on energy bills over the 2010 summer for a 3400 sq ft house" due to a home made from hemp.

So with the advent the Holy Ghost Writer's popular novels dispelling the myth of detrimental effects of hemp, why is it is illegal for US farmers to grow this plant if it creates thousands of useful products? Sort of makes you think twice if our government is for or against our economic well-being. Nonetheless, the Holy Ghost Writer's Sultan of Monte Cristo and That Girl Started Her Own Country portraying hemp as a normal way of abundantly living, millions of fans are realizing the importance of hemp to their own personal lives and how to economically sustain it.

Well-written and shockingly good novel!, September 7, 2012 - Alright, let's start this one off with an obvious statement, this book WILL be compared to the very popular 'Girl with the Dragon Tattoo' series. This book also SHOULD be compared to this series. Similar cover and similarities in the story beg for a comparison. So, that is exactly what I did as I read this novel. I compared it with one of my favorite book series of all time. And do you know what? It passed the test. It will fill the void of the fans of the trilogy that feel empty without a new novel to read.

I do not like a book that starts off slow and utterly descriptive, I like to jump right into the action. I need something to pull me in. This book did that and more. It is quite amazing, actually, the level of detail put into the Prologue without weighing it down. By that I simply mean that I understood the set-up completely without feeling like I knew TOO much information about the book ahead. The main character, Zaydee, is a strong, badass female persona. Female being the key word here. The femininity stays with her. She is not a 'woman in a man's world' she is a 'woman in her own world'.

And that is the goal of our main character in "That Girl Started Her Own Country". Starting out as a life-saving mission to rescue the man she loves, it later becomes a furious ass-kicking adrenaline ride. Filled with a creative cat and mouse like game, where she leaves clues and bits of story for the reporter she loves while simultaneously holding back the evil and nefarious men after him. In the end, Zaydee, ever the thinker and fast on her feet, comes up with a plan. The sort of plan that has democracies everywhere quivering in their boots.

It does not take long before, as the title suggest, Zaydee completely takes over, founding a new country.

HER country.

If you don't want to read it yet, I will make sure that Zaydee comes after you. And, trust me, no one wants that.

Creative and Original, September 7, 2012 - That Girl Started Her Own Country is about a hot chick, Zaydee who is on a mission to save her true love. This reads as a fast paced mystery, thriller, suspense with a little love thrown into the mix. The story flows great and I had to read it straight through. I couldn't put it down. After really getting into it, past the storyline, the grammar and editing is great. Everything made sense. It was an easy, fun, edge of my seat read. I would recommend this book to everyone who likes a little bit of everything in their stories. It was original and I can't wait to read more from this author, which he has another book available that I plan to read next. So, I can't wait to read more! I hope this helped in your decision to buy this great book. You won't be disappointed.

A Serious Page-Turner; Highly Recommended!, September 7, 2012 - I was not very happy as I finished this book. So intimately drawn into Zaydee's psyche, I had become her invisible companion and emotional confidante, and I wanted the story to go on and on and on. What a delicious feeling to leave a story with the certainty that its world continues beyond the final page! Partly inspired by an outrageously true story of a 30-year common-law wife unable to access her partner's assets after death due to Swedish law, this novel efficiently builds characters and settings of such depth and expertly-balanced flaws that readers can't help being affected by their experiences. Our anticipation grows as we watch Zaydee pour thoughtfully over those files; we stare in awe watching the gears turn as the words she reads instigate new insights and unexpected connections. We feel Larson's initial excitement and eventual restlessness as he tries to adjust to the solitude of the panic room. Twists abound as you discover that nothing is what it seems: protector versus predator, innocent versus cold-blooded, safe versus treacherous.

Mysterious author the Holy Ghost Writer has managed to weave a story of mystery and interspersed with such insights that you can't help but ponder long after the pages end. You know it'll be an interesting an informed read when the Bildebergers are mentioned in the introductory pages.

Fast-paced and smartly designed in a ever-heightening spattering of obstacles and clues, this one comes very highly recommended!

Every year, the Crib includes an art installation. This year's piece is called, "Our Shared Prayers". Prayers are being gathered from sisters from around the globe and will be shared at this year's International Ojai Yoga Crib.

The project begins in the villages on the outskirts of Varanasi, India. Uschi Gibson of LuckyUschi works with communities of women who are empowering themselves by learning new skills.

This community of women will gather and create 3000 white prayer flags. The project is part of an existing income generating program which allows women to feed, clothe and educate their children. The Ojai Yoga Crib has been in partnership with LuckyUschi and these women for four years.

From India, the flags will be shipped to communities of women around the world. Groups of women will gather to infuse their prayers into the flags. The Prayer flags will then be mailed back to Ojai and strung for installation.

The International Ojai Yoga Crib begins Thursday, October 27th with Immersions and then continues through the rest of the weekend with five 2.5-hour yoga sessions, three morning meditations with Emil Wendell and Geoffrey Gordon, an Friday evening talk with Erich Schiffmann and Saturday evening kirtan with Sean Johnson and the Wild Lotus Band.

Workshop topics range from the physical practices, spiritual roots and history, philosophy and application of yoga into our daily lives.

DownEast Basics Enters Southern California Fashion Scene with New Irvine Location

Goodwill Supports America’s Heroes Through Veterans’ Programs And Outreach

About T-Shirts
The t-shirt evolved from undergarments used in the 19th century, through cutting the one-piece "union suit" underwear into separate top and bottom garments, with the top long enough to tuck under the waistband of the bottoms. By the Great Depression, the t-shirt was often the default garment to be worn when doing farm or ranch chores, as well as other times when modesty called for a torso covering but conditions called for lightweight fabrics.

Basic t-shirts are staples in the promotional products industry and it is important that vendors understand their client's budget and needs right from the start. The Top Ten Myths About Learning To Scuba Dive

Everybody has a lifetime of experiences that determine the way that we percieve things. In addition, other people are more than happy to impart their views as well. This means that, quite often, we get a rather skewed view about something before we have ever experienced it. This can serve to keep us out of trouble; however, it may also stop us from doing things we might otherwise want to do. Below is a non-exhaustive discussion around some of the things that might be barriers to people having a go at Scuba Diving. Hopefully, it is a balanced perspective that might serve to correct some misconceptions.

1. Its cold in the water

It is true that the body loses heat in the water much more quickly than in air. However, just as you would not go out in winter without your coat, hat and gloves, there are many exposure protection suits that are used by Scuba Divers. Modern materials that reflect the heat back to your body mean that these can now be lighter weight and less cumbersome than in the past. In very warm tropical waters, a shortie wetsuit (short arms and legs) will provide adequate thermal protection. If the water is cooler, a full length wetsuit can be used. The ultimate protection is offered by a dry suit. This, as the name suggests, keeps you dry and you can wear warm thermal clothing underneath it to keep warm. So, if properly dressed, just like going for a walk in the fall, you can actually keep warm and enjoy the dive.

2. It's too expensive

Like most things, you can spend a fortune if you want to. You can pop down to your local dive shop and pick all of the most expensive kit, then book yourself onto a 'trip of a lifetime' holiday. However, at the other end of the spectrum there are many active student dive clubs whose members get by on a relatively small budget. For everyone, there will be the right place on the scale. Dive clubs often offer low cost training, the trade off is that it can take a long time to complete the training. Dive centres are more costly, but it is what they do, all day, every day. There is usually a bit of one-off expense up front (initial training plus basic kit), it really is then up to you how much you want to spend on the sport.

3. Learning to dive is difficult

When teaching diving, we find that most of the skills that are perceived by students as 'difficult' are just because of preconceived ideas. Teaching children is easy, they don't have a lifetime of preconception, plus they generally don't tell each other that things are hard. The first thing to tell people on a course is to forget everything that anyone has told them about what it's going to be like. Everybody has their own experiences, everybody is different. It is exceptionally rare for anybody not to complete a diving course. Keep an open mind and be positive.

4. The training takes a long time

This myth stems from many years ago when recreational diver training was based on military training. Now the two, very different, activities have moved apart and the modern recreational diver training agencies have worked hard to make sure that the right amount of knowledge is delivered to students at the right time. Learning is prescriptive, and skills are learned by doing and practicing them. The ideology now is very much to get divers into the water more quickly, in a safe and controlled manner, such that they can build experience and learn. Most of the introductory diving courses from the major training agencies can be completed in about 4 days. Will you know everything there is to know after 4 days? No! Will you know enough to start to enjoy the amazing underwater world in a safe manner? Yes!

5. I am not fit enough

Do you need to be a fitness fanatic to be a good Scuba Diver? No. Like anything, it is always easier if you take care of yourself and are in good shape. In the water, we are weightless; the whole point is that it is supposed to be a relaxing way to spend your leisure time exploring the undersea world.

6. I am too old

You can learn to dive form age 10 to well into retirement. But as mentioned above, although you don't need to be a fitness fanatic, you do need to have general good health and energy levels. So if you are 70 and still in good health, you can still learn to dive!

Unfortunately, films like 'Jaws' have given people the misconceived notion that sharks are highly aggressive and 'eat people' on a regular basis. This, of course, is not true; in most cases of shark encounters, the shark is swimming away from you! They are afraid of us and will only act in defence.

8. I am not a great swimmer

You do not need to be a great swimmer to scuba dive. For your own safety, as the sport takes place in and around water, it is important that you can swim and are reasonably comfortable in the water. However, you do not need to be an Olympic swimmer to enjoy scuba diving. The equipment that we use for scuba diving helps us effortlessly glide through the water.

9. I am claustrophobic

Don't panic, like many things you just need a bit of time to get used to the equipment. Once in open water most people find that far from being claustrophobic, the experience is liberating and free.

10. The theory is too hard

Learning to dive is a mixture of practical and theoretical exercises usually conducted in small groups with an in women's jackets structor. In most of the entry level courses, you will be able to learn in a number of different ways, for example, if you know that you understand things better visually, you can watch a DVD or CD ROM and can even complete all of the theory online.
